One of my favorite bands is the Eagles, and over at the Fastlane (probably the best Eagles fansite out there), there's a great article about the Eagles' first ever gig back in 1972… Amazingly, it was an unpaid gig where they played at the request of Jackson Browne (one of the most amazing singer-songwriters out there).
